Since 2004, the Meramec Regional Planning Commission (MRPC), the Ozark Rivers Solid Waste Management District (ORSWMD) and host communities throughout the region have been organizing special collections for items like electronic waste, appliances and tires. The district usually funds three to five of these one-day collection events each year.  The collections are open to any households in the Ozark Rivers District. The materials collected are recycled through event contractors. Most unwanted electronics and appliances, as well as waste tires, are accepted at these events.

Residential items only — items generated by businesses will not be accepted. Due to the Coronavirus, please wear a mask and remain in your vehicle. Place all recycling in your trunk or trailer and staff will unload all items.
